One Eyed Men: Metapolitics and Metaphysics
In this podcast we focus on some notable qualities of our contemporary politico-philosophical prophets and their misconceptions. We argue that there indeed are few notable, yet quite unsavory, thinkers who correctly read the signs of the times, which gives them a significant edge over their opponents. However, their philosophical notions are based on – radically wrong – understanding of metaphysics as metapolitics. Those thinkers like Slavoj Žižek, Alexander Dugin and Martin Heidegger share the mutual proclivity to turn what was traditionally a mental effort into a political one with more or less overt totalitarian purpose. In this respect they also share some interesting common ground with prevailing metapolitics/metaphysics of the “establishment”, i.e. with doctrines summed up under the umbrella term of “sustainable development”. We point out how different the original notion of metaphysics is and how Heideggerian idea that metaphysics is in fact a latently technocratic metapolitics – above all embodied in sustainable development doctrine – is quite wrong.

I’d just like to take the moment to show my appreciation of the frequent updates and work on this site. I really wish that the views expressed here would get more circulation among a greater number of readers.
This is because most mainstream criticism of non-mainstream ideas, opinions, or even moods essentially boil down to finding something political incorrect statement or word, take it out of context, and use it as a self evident proof that amounts to total refutation of the validity of one who issues it. And to borrow your patented phrase; “like hell it does”.
On the plus side if all goes well, you might even get a featured article on rationalwiki. I can almost see it: “Branco Malic, neo nazi alt right Serbian nationalist tied to the Trump administration and leading figure of Putin’s disinformation network spreads crazy conspiracy theories about respectable social philanthropists such as Al Gore and Bill Gates…”
Thanks. Although there could be a bit of a hiatus in the next week or two due to some outside circumstances.
