Poverty of Alternative Media: Nazi Punks And Heavenly Peoples
Friends will be friends, when you’re in need of loving and affection. Ustashe and Chetnitsi fighting it out till the last drop of booze.
This is probably the greatest joke God played on humanity: you cannot prove the obvious. If you are discussing a subject with someone who cannot realize this simple principle, your argument, although true, will always appear weaker precisely on the grounds of your interlocutor’s own weakness: you know that argument cannot continue while he drags it ad infinitum, giving impression that you have been silenced by him and not by the fact that there’s nothing left to say.
Narratives, narratives … we no need no stinkin’ narratives
Ancient Sophists new this very well and practically invented the profession of a lawyer, admittedly dubbed ‘rhetorician’ in ancient times, but nonetheless perfidious and by it’s very nature deeply poised against the truth.
So I’ll make an obviously true argument and my readers are free to prove me false:
alternative (independent) media are just media. Nothing more, nothing less. This means they are built by people who are not interested in truth but, as is nowadays a common Derridaesque moniker, narratives.
Of course, you cannot extinguish the truth by mere language games – because that’s what narratives really are – and, as independent media are not plugged into great power sources like their mainstream counterpart, they tend to be as closer to the truth as much as the mainstream is divorced from it.
Yet independent media crave power, too. They don’t have it, so it’s only natural that they crave it. And the moment this desire becomes prevalent, their dependence becomes obvious. I have no doubt that in the close future, as Internet media hotspots crystallize as substitute for TV and newspapers, fairly mainstream camps of liars will sway public opinion of new generations. The truth tellers will be minority as they are now.
Also, you cannot figure out the world via Internet. Truth be told, you probably cannot figure it out at all. But some things you can understand only if you are on site, living out the chess game others are watching via their screens, rooting for their geopolitical team. Here’s one example to illustrate what I mean.
Giuseppe Mazzini and Heavenly people
One day, some time ago, I received an email from Serbian author collaborating with prominent alt-media sites, some of which I too on occasion collaborate:
Esteemed mr. Malić
I would like to publish Your article “A Perfect Murder” on our site (xy), of course in Serbian language (Croatian variant, in Latin letters)
Do check out our sites comprising (xy) community, think about collaboration, and if you find it feasible, I’ll take a liberty to ask you to send me text in question.
We could hear over the phone (please send me an email, my Skype is not always on)
Greetings from, (xy)
XY, president of (xy) team
So business-like, huh? But remember the text in bold. My answer:
All texts from Kali Tribune can be freely republished with providing the link to original. As for Serbo-Croatian linguistics, you can republish it in any form you like. If the important segment of your site’s concept is that it’s being written in Cyrillic, there’s really no need to ruin it for the sake of one article. Regarding collaboration, judging by your notion of relation of my language toward Serbian, I fear that it wouldn’t go a long way, because I must surmise that you consider the relation of our peoples in analogous way. We won’t agree on that.
Anyway, please feel free to republish my article, etc.
As a native of Balkan I was momentarily aware of who am I dealing with and how to make him more properly introduce himself. And the gist of the matter was promptly disclosed in my interlocutor’s reply, as expected:
You are right, I do consider your “people” and so called “Croatian language” to be a product mostly of Vatican’s actions, with muddling of Germans (your syntax is German), and nowadays you’re talking Anglo-Vaticano-Serbian, while we talk Anglo-Turkish-Serbian.
I respect your stand on collaboration. We’ll republish the article in Latin letters because it is in truth the letter of catholicized part of (mostly) Serbian people, therefore, indigenous to an author, i.e. you.
A bit of e-forensics, just in case: email exchange we just described.
I don’t know how my Far and Middle Western readers think it feels to be lumped up in a group and put in quotation marks, but I can tell you that, regardless of not taking this loony bin seriously, I do vividly remember that it was a primer to the greatest destruction on European soil since World War 2 and irrevocably ruined the lives of Serbs, Croats and Bosnians of my generation. For, while Serbia exported the war and until NATO attack haven’t on it’s own soil shared in the chaos it incited, the lives of young people in the Nineties there where along the lines of living in a lunatic asylum of open type.
This Serbian nationalist’s standpoint towards it’s neighbors, formerly called “brothers”, is based on 19th Century political theology of nascent independent Serbian state, and became solidified into a monolithic state myth with eradication of Obrenovich and installation of Karagjorgjevich dynasty/oligarchy.
By exploiting the epic poems of “Kosovo cycle”, it not so subtly shifted the accent of the volkisch-imaginary sacrifice of Serbian leader Prince Lazar at the hands of Bayezid Yilderim on Kosovo in 1389. to the sacrifice of the whole Serbian people. Namely, the myth originally exalts Lazar’s choice of the Kingdom of Heaven over the Kingdom on Earth, price for which was his death in the aftermath of Battle of Kosovo polje (‘polie’ – ‘plain’), which turned small Serbian kingdom into – exceptionally loyal, one must note – Ottoman client-state.
From, at the latest in the later part of 19th Century, this myth, nowadays enshrined above all in Serbian Orthodox Church, proposes that Serbs are “Heavenly People”, i.e. that at the Battle of Kosovo they made a choice that gave their raison d’ etat a sanction from Heaven.
When the Saint go marchin’ in … Nemanjić (Nemanich) dynasty – all save one proclaimed saints. How would you like to be born into holy history where the only thing needed for winning heaven is to be born and perhaps tragically die by enemies of “Serbdom”?
However, the myth, as it stands now, is in fact modern invention developed originally under the influence of followers of Guiseppe Mazzini. For example, one notable among them was Ljubomir Čupa Jovanović (Yovanovich), high ranking freemason, ideologue and co-founder of Unity or Death organization, better known as Black Hand, and editor of the “Pijemont” (Piedmont) magazine.
The very title ‘Pijemont’ is a tell tale sign of Mazzinian influence – besides the fact that Jovanović was commonly dubbed “Serbian Mazzini” – because, in Mazzini’s ideological optics, the unification of Italy around the region of Piedmont, was an overture to the liberation of all European peoples, on the way of building “European Federation of Nations” and, finally, “World Republic”.
Mazzini believed that nationalism is a necessary step in building the “one world” in fairly Masonic terms (regeneration of humanity) and dubbed it “an expression of God’s knowledge on earth”. So according to his “cosmopolitism of nations” every people has a sacred duty of forming the nation as an expression of it’s individuality, to be consummated in the future – dare we say, now present? – stage of fusion into “world republic”.
Mazzini’s national romanticism was in fact just a veil for a fairly real political strategy of, in the first place, destroying of Catholic Church and Russian empire, as the prime forces of anti-revolutionary reaction, and destabilizing of the continental Europe. Hence: “Young Italy”, “Young Poland”, “Young Serbia”, etc. Curiously enough, this long time resident of London never supported “Young Ireland” to carry out assassinations, terrorist attacks and guerilla warfare against British Empire, although such group did exist at one time.
The nation in Mazzini’s terms is defined by language and territory, and people exercise “God given” right to claim the both in it’s own hands. People have to form the state and the implication is they all have to live in it. The reason for this is Mazzini’s idea that every people have specific function (Germans intellectual, Poles military, Italians prophetic, etc.) and when their faculties develop it will come to pass that:
„ (…) the great edifice that the centuries and the peoples are called to erect will vaguely resemble a pyramid whose top can touch the sky and whose base embraces Humanity as a whole. God’s eye will radiate from the peak of this pyramid.“ (Giuseppe Mazzini, „Humanity and Country“, in: A Cosmopolitism of Nations. Princeton University Press, Princeton: 2009., pg. 55)
So what does freemasonic geopolitics have to do with my email exchange?
Well, note the elaborate effort of my interlocutor to demonstrate that by virtue of my language being a corrupted version of his own, my own people, including me, are corrupted version of his own people, including him. This mental arabesque serves him to simultaneously insert identity and difference between us. We are identical insofar as Croats are in fact corrupted Serbs, while we are different because Croats persists in their corruption thus preventing themselves to fully identify with “Serbdom”.
As nation is defined by language and territory, the only alternative for Serbs is to transform their neighbor into themselves by taking all the “Serbian lands”, i.e. the territories abroad settled by self-conscious ethnic Serbs and, god willing, the territories where unconscious Serbs, i.e. Croats and Bosnians, dwell.
The borders of those territories were traditionally delineated by Serbian Orthodox Churches, as is quite well exemplified by the plan laid out by Serbian politician Nikola Pašić (Pashich) at the time of first Yugoslav unification, when he managed to dupe the ragtag bunch of freemasons, artists and idealists from Yugoslav committee seeking the unification of the South Slavs into thinking that they are forming a community of equals. In the late Eighties it was rehashed, above all by Serbian ex-communist academic Dobrica Ćosić (Chosich), to provide ideal blueprint of Serbian aims in the war that was brewing, with imaginative addition of “Serbian graveyards” to “Serbian Orthodox Churches” as constituents of Serbian limes towards the West.
The rest is, under the firm guiding hand of Yugoslavian clandestine services, history; the history which is, apparently, still not left in past perfect tense because, for Serbian nationalist of this ilk, the only way is forward – into other peoples lands and, finally, in the Serbian graveyard which will provide neat casus belli for another cycle in the dialectics of violence. The violence, I must note, that always proved suicidal for those in whose name it was carried out.
So, this is, in broad outlines, whose articles you very well might be reading while trying to figure out the Great Game from the anti Western standpoint.
The argument of my interlocutor is irrefutable because it is obviously insane and it is still shared by Serbian ruling class whose crème de la crème comes straight from the gutter of this ideology, organized by the likes of, to mention but a few, Franko Simatović (‘Simatovich’, ethnic Croat, secret services – one of the top people tasked with organizing the Serbian insurrection in Croatia and organizing death squads led by Arkan and similar colorful ex-secret services assassins), Slobodan Milošević (‘Miloshevich’, political leadership – instrumentalized the ideology for oligarchic and psychopathic purposes of absolute control) and Vojislav Šešelj (‘Sheshely’, warmongering in theory and practice – organizing Četnici (Chetnitzy – from “cheta” meaning “military unit”. In the Balkan this, along with the expression “Komiti”, was a blanked term for guerrillas, which gained it’s contemporary notoriety in World War 2), i.e. Serbian irregulars attached to Federal army to rape, pillage and burn), all of them now dully acquitted by ICTY, i.e. West against which my email interlocutor is supposedly rebelling.
Chicano Chetnik sniffs out the Ustashe
But as a child of former Yugoslavia, I cannot pass on without expounding the nature of Croatian villains. This was a normal procedure in ill conceived, but to an extent noble, attempt of communists to solve the problem of nationalism: for every ill of your “brother”, you had to mention one of your own. As Yugoslavia was essentially destroyed by Yugoslavians, i.e. members of political and secret service elites, who partially controlled and partly duped the national leaders into inciting and maintaining the coflict, I know it can bear no fruit. But old habits die hard, so I’ll write a few words about Croatian Ustaše (Ustashe – “rebels”).
For this purpose I will introduce one more alt-media figure whose identity I won’t protect because he wrote these words publicly:
So, dear reader, as you are, according to this prominent Chicano Serb, reading the words of naturally born Ustaša – genetically predetermined to be a Nazi, I’m obliged to introduce my background properly.
Croatian Fascism stems directly from Mazzini inspired nationalism of Ante Starčević (Starchevich), Croatian philosopher and ideologue, who was the first to use a slogan “Bog i Hrvati!” (“God and Croats!”) which is a direct appropriation of Mazzini’s “Dio e Popolo!” (“God and the People!”) revolutionary franchise.
Bomb, dagger, gun and cross – Croatian Ustaše
Poison, dagger, bomb and skull – Serbian “Unity or Death” a.k.a. Black Hand
The political nest of nascent Ustaše movement was an off-shoot, and to an extent a deviation, of his political line, spiraling into extreme, revolutionary nationalism, embodied in the old Croatian Pure Party of Right (‘right’ is here meant in the politico-theological sense of the Mazzini inspired ‘right of the people’, while Starčević used it to denote a historical continuity of Croatian political institutions), popularly known as “Frankovci” (Frankovtzi) after their leader Josip Frank. In the first Yugoslavia they took a firm public anti-Beograd stance but were known for clandestine collaboration with powerful Serbian Radical Party in it’s efforts to obstruct the work of undisputed Croat leader Stjepan Radić (Styepan Radich) and his Croatian Peasant Party, especially after he joined forces with leader of Serbs in Croatia, Svetozar Pribičević (Pribichevich), against the oligarchy concentrated around Beograd Karagjorgjevichi court.
The party was banned in 1929., in the period known as “The dictatorship of the January the sixth” when King Alexandar Karagjorgjevich abolished the Parliament, public activity of all political parties, trade unions, etc. The cause of this was an assassination of Stjepan Radić and some of his colleagues in the Beograd People’s Assembly (Parliament) on June, 20., 1928 (three dead, including Radich and his brother, two wounded). The assassination was carried out by court stooge and major player in rampant Yugoslavian corrupt businesses, Puniša Račić (Punisha Rachich) and organized, as we know on good evidence all the way from Nineteen-fifties by “White hand” secret society, on the bidding of the Court, if not the King himself.
The splinter cell of Frankovtzi, led by future dictator of fascist Independent State of Croatia, Ante Pavelić (Pavelich) emigrated and started to organize terrorist activities which culminated in assassination of Alexander Karagjorgjevich on October, 9th, 1934. in Marseille, France, in all probability at the bidding of Italy which was arming and running the Ustaše terrorist cells.
Paradoxically, one of the heavy ills of first Yugoslavia and one among many causes of legitimate and massive Croat resistance spearheaded by Stjepan Radić was Yugoslavia’s gradual concession of coastal Croatian region of Dalmatia to fascist Italy, notably through so called Nettuno accords (1925.) which provided Mussolini with economic bridgehead into Croatia and, consequently, Yugoslavia. Stjepan Radić was assassinated in the midst of parliamentary discussion about these accords (31 contracts and agreements between Yugoslavia and fascist Italy) which took more than 6 years to ratify because no Administration had a nerve to enforce them due to popular, especially Croat, resistance. In the Thirties King Alexander took a turn towards nascent Nazi Germany, still looked upon by Mussolini with suspicious eye, and was in all probability assassinated to prevent exchange of Italian for German influence.
Ustaše were installed to power by fascists after the fall of Yugoslavia in April of 1941., and their first act in power was to deliver Dalmatia to Italy. They never had a popular support in Croatia and Bosna, something that even the most Croatia hostile historians have to concede. Moreover, as the whole country burst in flames of communist led insurrection, most notably Croatia and Bosnia, the recruitment of soldiers on all sides was mostly at the gunpoint. Ustaše government was looked upon as tyranny and was mainly supported by Croatian oligarchy and to an extent in the regions were Yugoslav state terror was the worst. Yet one can hardly say that 250 – 364 ragtag Ustaše thugs which Italy installed to power on April, 16. 1941. were legitimate representatives of Croatian people.
Now, have I proven Chicano Četnik false? Can this short course in history of Croatian and Serbian nationalism be appropriate argument to convince you that when you scratch me, you won’t find Ustaša lurking?
Well, it depends whether you want the truth or you want the narrative. Nowadays, Westerners are tired and sick of their broken kingdoms, and with good reason. Euroatlantist block is the generator of anti-human ideology deeply rooted in a metaphysics of scientism and posthumanism. But do you really think that your villains are only villains in the world? That Croats and Serbs have to rely on CIA to mount a sizable and senseless conflict?
I think not. Our evil is older than yours.
The will to understand can very well be the will to control. The likes of Mexican neo-Nazi, er … alt-leftist, er … alt righter, er … Duginoid, er … a perfect asset of any and all alphabet soup agency will provide you with paradigms that make sense. You’ll be able to understand, to overpower the world-image mediated to you by electronic information nodes. But, you’ll be as far removed from the truth as anyone duped by mainstream lies. To add an insult to injury, you’ll be duped, not by intelligence services or NATO propaganda, but by charlatans ridiculed by those who know their ilk because they are woeful part of their history.
Who would bother to register all the warmongers, occultists and charlatans of ex-communist countries? We know this because we live in the midst of it. We cannot prove it, we don’t bother to prove it, because our lives are not your someone elses narratives but ethnic, personal and family histories that survived both Ustaše and Četnici without hatred. If you cannot get this, then make an effort to get it. Or give it up, it’s all the same to me. But spare us of your narratives, and imported extremists. We all had enough of our own.
And on this note, I would conclude with a remark about the obvious which of course I cannot prove:
Scratch Joaquin Flores and you’ll find a piece of shit.
