Windswept Podcast: On Unholy Indifference
KT proudly introduced new brand of podcasts in the universe of global podcasting: a windswept podcast, that is, audio recording combining articulate speech combating sounds of strong wind and occasional car engine. So, instead of nagging about sound quality, our faithful flock can appreciate how well we record environmental noise in the background of the poignant discussion of the mood disclosing what philosophers call nihilism: the mood of indifference. We argue that indifference is what in everyday living manifests the metaphysical reality of virtual world, i.e. artificial structure that is gradually replacing the real world. As such it is probably the most dangerous and diabolic state in which man can find himself and is a vehicle of totalitarian social changes in Western societies. As an example we introduce the abortion/anti-abortion debates and curious state of “heated indifference” they induce in people, that makes one miss the fact that measures like abortions, homosexual marriages, euthanasia advocacy, etc. are essentially parts of the same package, and not isolated phenomena.
(If for some reason the Mixcloud presents you with problems, the podcasts are available on Kali Tribune’s Youtube channel. Podcasts can be downloaded via this link )

The background noise DID seem very relevant… naughty synchronicity…
I really like this “bringing metaphysics into the kitchen” stuff Branko. There’s nothing like Plotinus helping me wash the dishes, raise my kids, relate and understand better my neighbours, etc. Please keep it up.
